What is the NDIS?
A groundbreaking initiative
The NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) is a government initiative to make support more accessible for Australians living with disability. As an NDIS participant you can receive funding for support services that help you get through life easier.
You can have more control over your life and live more independently and you can access benefits available for you in your community. It’s your pathway to a healthier, more manageable life with disability.

You are eligible for NDIS funding if you are born with or acquire a permanent or significant disability that prevents you from completing daily activities independently. Further eligibility criteria includes living in Australia as a citizen, or with a permanent visa and are between the ages of 7 and 65. You can check your eligibility for the NDIS here.
In this case a plan manager will handle all your invoices and payments and keep track of your spending. Vesper Care provides support for self-managed and plan-managed participants.
Vesper Care complies with state guidelines such as using protective gear when necessary, practising social distancing and hand hygiene. We conduct regular screenings and our care workers are encouraged to stay at home if they experience any symptoms. We are fortunate to have sufficient staff and resources to keep our support going without any disruption to your much-needed care.
